The HR (Human Resources) department is a team who is responsible for managing the employee life cycle (i.e., recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training/development, and terminating employees), administering employee benefits, managing employee policies, ensuring compliance, overseeing performance management, and managing employee relations.

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the HR Director and the HR Specialist with these various administrative duties.  They will have an active role with all ClassLink employees.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining strong company culture
  • Manage the onboarding process of all new hires
  • Assist in the performance management and recognition of our employees
  • Assist with employee development and engagement
  • Assist with program development and team building activities for our employees
  • Assist with our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program
  • Assist in maintaining positive employee relations
  • Ensure HR compliance and health & safety in our workplace
  • Assist in maintaining our HRIS systems
  • Establish and maintain our employee benefit programs
  • Assist with the offboarding process of departing employees
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality, discretion, and good judgment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Understanding of HR principles, practices and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite or similar software

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience or 0-2 years of related experience required
  • SHRM-CP credential preferred
